The Equation Youth Academy has been created to provide an opportunity for kids and teenagers to get into Strength and Conditioning Training and possibly explore the sport of weightlifting.
We have created a carefully designed programme for kids and teenagers and their specific development to help them build a love for fitness and health.
Our programme is based on the principle of Mechanics, Consistency and then Intensity. Our Coaches emphasises good movement throughout childhood and adolescence. Consistently good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance and fewer sports injuries for kids. Not only that, a vast body of research indicates that exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means consistent adherence can have a positive impact on children’s academic achievement.
We have created a Development Pathway for young athletes to ensure athletes are training safely and effectively for their own abilities.
Our Kids and Teens Classes are suitable for all fitness and experience levels
During our sessions we will cover basic Strength and Conditioning training which allows them to build a good foundation of movement which will not only help them develop their movement, fitness and health in the gym, this will also transfer over into other sports they choose to do.
In the classes we will teach the Squat, Deadlift and Press along with many gymnastics, body weight, kettlebell and Dumbell movements as well as plyometrics and conditioning training.

Primary School Age 3:50-4:25 Every Monday during term time
Secondary School Age 4:30-5:25 Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday
